(HealthDay News) -- A toothache can be a real pain, but you can take steps to care for tooth discomfort.
The American Dental Association offers these suggestions:
Rinse your mouth with warm water.Very gently clean between teeth with floss.Don't apply any pain reliever to the gum surrounding the painful tooth, as this can damage nearby gum tissue.Call your dentist if the pain doesn't get better.Copyright (c) 2012 HealthDay.
